The end of year meeting for 2022 that was held to review the activities of the District Planning Coordinating Unit (DPCU) / District Nutrition Coordinating Committee (DNCC) of the Nanton District Assembly.
The meeting was held on the 11th and 12th April, 2023 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale. This meeting is a statutory requirement of the performance contract signed between Local Government Service and DIstrict Assemblies.
A total of sixty (60) people participated in the meeting. These participants were drawn from the various decentralized departments of the Nanton District, Assembly members, the Northern Regional Coordinating Council, Traditional Authorities, Youth Leaders, Women Leaders and Implementing partners.

The objective of the meeting was to;
1. Provide an opportunity for the DPCU/DNCC and relevant stakeholders to review, assess and improve upon the implementation of the 2022 activities and way forward for 2023.
2. To enable the DPCU/DNCC collate and assess data that will inform the drawing of 2023 Activities.
3. To review and understand the interventions of Implementing partners/CSos in the district and consequently draw synergies among departments and Implementing partners in their interventions for coordination and avoidance of duplications.
4. To enable key stakeholders and the people of Nanton to have a better understanding of the activities going on in the district.
