The Nanton District Assembly in collaboration with Enhancing WASH Activities had a meeting on providing access to clean and safe drinking water to selected communities in the district.
These communities include Nanton Kurugu, and Sandu. The stakeholders of the meeting discussed issues on building or improving water infrastructure, such as boreholes, water treatment facilities and distribution systems. The goal is to ensure that the communities has sustainable and reliable source of clean water which is essential for health, sanitation and overall well-being.
The main aim of the project is to address water scarcity, contamination and inadequate access to water resources within the selected communities.
